Terms of service
1. Who we are
Presence Pro (“we”, “us”) provides reports on how AI assistants and public sources describe a hotel. You can reach us at hello@presencepro.co.uk.
2. The service
Presence Pro reads a hotel's public website and public sources, samples the answers of an AI assistant to traveller-style questions, and produces a report with findings and recommendations. The service is for businesses. By subscribing you confirm that you are doing so for your business, and that you have authority to do so for the hotel named.
3. What the reports are, and are not
- Reports are information to help you make decisions. They are not legal, financial or professional advice.
- We do not promise, and nobody can promise, that any AI assistant will name, rank or recommend your hotel, or that following a recommendation will increase bookings or revenue.
- AI answers are a sample from one assistant on one day. Search results and AI answers vary from run to run. Anything we could not measure is shown as “not assessed”.
- We use third-party public sources and services that we do not control. We do not guarantee that they are complete, accurate or available.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions at the prices shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT, which is added where it applies.
- Payment is taken by card through Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Stripe's own terms and privacy notice apply to the payment.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- We may change our prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and a change takes effect from your next renewal after that notice.
- If a payment fails we may pause delivery of reports until it is resolved.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, using the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future payments. Your plan continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not give refunds for part-periods unless the law requires it or we say otherwise in writing. There is no minimum term. We may end a subscription on 30 days' notice, and will refund any period you have paid for but not received.
6. Your information and your part
You agree to give us accurate details about your hotel, and to supply review exports or other files only if you are entitled to share them. You are responsible for any action you take on the basis of a report. You must not use the service unlawfully, try to overload or interfere with it, or resell reports without our written agreement.
7. Our rights
We own Presence Pro, its software and its reports' format and method. You may use the report we produce for your hotel for your own business purposes, including sharing it with your team and advisers. You keep ownership of your own information.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, bookings or goodwill, or for indirect loss, and our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes to the service and to these terms
We keep improving Presence Pro and may change how it works. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell you by email before it applies.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
